Dear donors, partners and volunteers,
We're pleased to share our 2017-2018 Annual Report with you:

Our combined efforts allowed us to deliver over 320 school-day and extracurricular programs to more than 6,500 Quebec students—a 7% increase compared to last year. Thank you for believing in the importance of our mission. Your involvement means that young people are getting the real-world experience and skills they need to succeed in their professional life. Today, more than ever, we need to work together to encourage kids to stay in school and help them succeed as professionals and entrepreneurs in Quebec. Your time, talent, sage advice and financial support make a world of difference.
We really appreciate your generosity. Many thanks!
From the whole JA Quebec team |

We'd like to welcome our new school program coordinator, M’hamed Mobarki, to our team! M’hamed is tasked with recruiting new schools and new volunteers to expand our service offer, as well as helping us continue our educational mission. |

|
Over the last few months, JA Quebec worked on consolidating our offices to make it easier to develop programs and recruit partners across Quebec. Thank you to all the directors, coordinators, committee members and advisory board members from other regions of Quebec for their constant support, dedication and ongoing desire to help develop our programs throughout the entire process. |

More than Money
We're pleased to announce the arrival of our 7th program, More than Money, available as of this fall in Quebec schools.
The program is for grades 4, 5 and 6 and teaches students about earning, spending, sharing and saving money. Students will also learn how to launch and manage a small company. |
|
At the end of the program, students will have learned the importance of good financial choices on their life and the basics of entrepreneurship, like choosing a good product or service, writing a business plan and successfully managing a company.

World of Choices
Thanks to the generosity of RBC, we're proud to announce the arrival of our 8th program: World of Choices. This great new program helps round out our existing educational content. It is now offered for free in participating schools.
World of Choices encourages 15- to 18-year-olds to explore career paths and lets them learn first-hand from career mentors from different fields. |
|
| Participants will gain a better understanding of a variety of careers and the educational foundations they require. By the end of the program, students will be more confident about their future and better equipped to meet the challenges of today's work world. |
A fun, innovative pilot project: Investor Hero app
JA Quebec has the opportunity to be part of a fun, innovative pilot project: Investor Hero, a mobile game app developed by young Quebec programmer Paul-Étienne Belloncik. The app aims to educate young people about finances through realistic scenarios from everyday life. We'll be gradually rolling out the app as a supporting activity for our financial workshops, with the agreement of schools where we provide our school programs. |
