We are seeking an enthusiastic intern in the Greater Montreal area to join our dynamic team! The internship can be done full-time or part-time with a flexible schedule. You&#8217;ll walk away with a unique experience where you&#8217;ll get a first-hand glimpse of all the pieces that make up our organization, including administration, facilitating school programs, volunteer training and networking, event organization, marketing and media relations. Note that this experience is not paid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Write to us at<\/span> <a href=\"mailto:dberard@jaquebec.org\">dberard@jaquebec.org<\/a> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">or<\/span> <a href=\"mailto:mmobarki@jaquebec.org\">mmobarki@jaquebec.org<\/a> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">to apply.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Job description<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As an intern with JA Quebec, you&#8217;ll have the opportunity to be actively involved in 3 main mandates, each with different sub-tasks:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Understanding non-profit culture and learning about JA Quebec:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dive into the culture of non-profit organizations and become an ambassador for JA Quebec<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Learn about our mission, values and impact in the community<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Promoting school programs:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Help promote our school programs to Quebec schools<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Help promote our Company Program and Junior Entrepreneur Program at Quebec schools and community centres<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"3\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reaching out to potential volunteers:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Understand the importance of networking and develop your skills by reaching out to potential volunteers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Recruit committed volunteers by introducing them to JA Quebec and our programs and missions<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Missions and responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Acquire a deep understanding of non-profit culture and JA Quebec<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Understand the importance of networking and develop a dynamic and engaged image<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reach out to schools to promote JA Quebec programs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Get involved in searching for volunteers to support our activities<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Provide a detailed report on daily tasks completed<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Participate in in-person meetings at the office at least once a week<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Demonstrate exemplary professionalism and an impeccable work ethic<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>General tasks<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Complete at least 4 relevant training sessions for your career on LinkedIn Learning relating to your tasks in the internship, and summarize what you&#8217;ve learned so you can present it<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Facilitate at least two classes to share your knowledge and inspire students<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Give at least two training sessions to volunteers to strengthen our network of committed volunteers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Network to recruit volunteers and introduce them to JA Quebec, our programs, and our missions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reach out to schools to promote JA Quebec and our initiatives<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Meet with each member of our team to understand the ins and outs of each of their jobs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Organize a concrete networking activity to build your skills and your professional network<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Join our team at JA Quebec and help young people thrive while you develop your skills in a stimulating and inspiring environment!
