Because of the pandemic, we’re turning this year’s Company Program into the 8-week Virtual Entrepreneurial Project.
The free program will begin mid-February and take place entirely online. In the program, Secondary 4 and 5 students will create a realistic business plan with the help of mentors from the business community.
Virtual meetings will be held once a week on Teams, on Tuesday or Wednesday nights from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Contests and extra activities are also planned for the 8-week program.
Program premise
A group of investors has $2 million to invest in a Quebec start-up. They approach you and your team and ask you to submit a compete business plan for a start-up idea. Your team has to put together a full business plan and present it at the last meeting of the program.
